Jeep Cherokee Doors Wont Lock

My lock work intermittently as well but i can hear the relays clicking.

Jeep cherokee doors wont lock.

Sometimes they work and sometimes they don t. Tipms can unfortunately be an expensive fix. If it s not making any sounds trying to unlock lock and it s all doors not working it normally comes down to the fuse or the tipm module itself. 1998 jeep cherokee classic has door locking unlocking problem.

There could be a wire broken in the harness that goes through the door jam or a solder joint on one or more of the door lock relays could be broken. You can hit the solder joints with a soldering iron and reset the solder joints. 2006 jeep grand cherokee power door locks will not lockand rear hatch window will not open. Seems like the relay for the power locks may be part of the junction box fuse panel the one under the drivers side dash.

The relays are in the passenger side arm rest. Any help on how to fix would be very helpful. I checked the fuse in slot 15 and it appears to be good. However the power door lock on the passenger side does not work either.

I think that was me that posted a similar problem but different mine won t lock or unlock from fob or door switch but it will with physical key. Nothing will lock or unlock electronically. Even though you inspected the fuse did you try to replace it anyway just in case.
