The reason for the light flash and chime sound is i presume to let you know whether you have locked unlocked the vehicle. Door chime on with no key in ignition or lights on disclaimer. Using you good hearing locate the chime and simply disconnect the plug from the back. Quick tip how to stop this chime i demo on my grand cherokee 2015 but it should work on most newer jeeps.

You get 2 loud bleeps to unlock and one for lock. As soon the the indicator goes away quickly disconnect then reconnect the seatbelt 3x. You ll still get warnings on the dash but this will disable the chime. In the uconnect you can disable the light feature that flashes when locking unlocking but not the chime.

Turn the jeep on but don t start it acc mode the diagnostic screen will briefly show the seatbelt warning indicator. Turn off the jeep. Enjoying beep chime will go on when the door is open. To remove this you will also be losing the ignition chime when the keys are in the ignition or when the doors open.

Just open the door with the keys in the ignition look under the dash on the driver or passenger side.
